Conrad should have been irritated.  Worth was a dick.  He was a /complete/ dick and only ever did anything remotely nice if it suited his whim or set someone up for additional mockery.  Conrad was well aware of that and had given up on trying to walk on egg shells long ago.  These days he just hit Worth and then either left, or, well, things sometimes happened that led to him staying around a bit longer than the artist intended.
